St Mary’s Church of England (Aided) Primary School
For your child to be in a good place to learn, they first need to believe in themselves and have trust in the community that teaches them.
Our Christian values are at the heart of everything we do and our vision is the bedrock of our school, which is ‘To provide firm foundations and create opportunities for everyone to be inspired and flourish within a supportive community demonstrating branches of wisdom, integrity, compassion, patience and joy.’
Your child will be encouraged to embrace the vision we have at St Mary’s and follow the school values as a way of living in harmony with others.
At St Mary’s, we aim to nurture children who aspire to achieve excellence in all that they do and we accomplish this by offering the best teaching and learning provision in an environment where all children are supported, challenged and valued equally. We also believe strongly in building a sense of responsibility and resilience in our children so that they can look to the future, embrace new opportunities and be part of building a school that they are proud of.
I hope that our website and virtual tour demonstrates many examples of how we achieve our vision. If you would like to know more or to book a visit, please contact us via the school office.
Best wishes

Consultation for the set up of a Nursery at St. Mary’s CE Primary School
Consultation for the set up of a Nursery at St. Mary’s CE Primary School
St Mary’s CE Primary School is setting up a Nursery provision, with 30 places, for 2-4 year olds and this consultation sets out the proposal to implement this plan. To establish the Nursery, it is necessary for the school to change the age range, which the school caters for (from 4–11-year olds to 2-11 year olds).
This is an exciting opportunity that would enable the school to provide Early Education places to children aged 2, 3 and 4 years old, prior to their entry to school. The purpose of this consultation is to provide information about our proposal and seek the views of our families and the wider community
