Dear Parents and Carers Forest School Fun Parents in EYFS and Year 1 were invited to share marshmallows around the fire with Ms Parker this week and what fun they all had. Thank you so much Ms Parker for supporting us every week. Parents’ Evenings Thank you to everyone that attended Parents’ Evenings this week. We hope you found them informative. World Maths Day Everyone enjoyed dressing up as either a jelly bean, TT rockstar or a number and had fun with maths today. Maths is everywhere! I have enjoyed working with Year 4 again this week and seeing the improvements the class are making with recalling their table knowledge – well done Year 4. Year 4 Assembly Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended the Year 4 class assembly. The children talked about their knowledge of Europe, The Different States of Matter in Science and some musical elements. Chastleton Teas I seem to be saying thank you a lot today. We have received a wonderful number of cakes to sell at Chastleton tomorrow. If you would like to join us the weather is set to be lovely. Cake and refreshments on sale from 1.00pm to 4.00pm. Come and support the school. Easter colouring competition The Friends are donating Easter eggs for the best decorated egg. Your child was given an A4 colouring sheet yesterday. If they would like to enter, colour in the template beautifully and return it to school on Monday morning. Winners will be awarded on Thursday. Gardening tools Does anyone have an extra spade, trowel etc that they would like to donate to Miss Southeard? She would like to add to our nurture gardening equipment. Please bring any donations to the school office. Netball News Our girl’s netball team played a home game against St John’s Priory School, Banbury on Wednesday evening. We are very proud to announce that they won 13 -2! Thank you to Mr Buzzard for organising this. We believe there will be a return match very soon. After school clubs in April You will be informed about the clubs on offer in the summer term, next week.
